Mixed Economy
Mixed Economy
Do you want to live in a safe society? There are many economies in the world, such as command economies, market economies, traditional economies and mixed economies. However, people would be very happy and pleased with the laws of a mixed economy. A mixed economy is a combination of command and free market economy. In a market economy, people are very rich because of the freedom given by the government. Command economy is mostly controlled by the government and they set up laws which state that everyone is equal. A mixed economy positively affects the citizens by using laws to protect people, while providing freedom for them to have more choices.
Protection helps people live comfortably in a completely safe society. For example, America 's government makes laws for the products for the consumers' own good. It's called FDA, which stands for Food and Drug Administration. This proteciton helps people to have a good health from using the products. If the products that businesspeople sell are healthy and environmental friendly then lots of people would want to buy them. The mroe profit they earn, the better the economy will get. That's how the country will develop into a higher level.
Mixed economy provides freedom for people to let them do what they want. In the story "How Much Land Does a Man Need?" Pahom can do what he wants because there are no strict rules. Pahom buys huge lands and increases his wealth times a hundred. Freedom can give a lot of choices in life. People can have freedom to gain a lot of wealth and power. Just like Pahom, he has opportunities to get rich and powerful.
Freedom and protection should go together in order to make a good economy like a mixed economy. There are important components build up a highly developed economy and country. Mixed economies do not force people to do things they don't want to. People can just be themselves.

I think if this story's narrator is Don Anselmo, he would talk more about the kids in the village that he planted the trees when each kid was born in the village. He would telling the story in the first person. He would tell more about his feeling about the kids in the village and why he sold his house.
